What I did during the Super Bowl

So everyone that knows me, can tell you I know jack about sports...

so I polished my snail...it actually is about the fourth day I have been working on it (about 30 hours or so) but it is the first day to get tangible shine to it...I still have 1000 and 2000 grit paper to use on it and look forward to next weekend when it can go in the car and match the valve and timing covers...

Looks purty.

Is that a boost pressure (or temperature, perhaps) measurement port there near the blower outlet? I don't remember seeing one on my V1.

Good man. I'd rather do that than watch sports too.

Mothers Metal Polish

Half hour at least on each pair of sheet of two in each grit...so figure half hour with each one minimum...

total work time is logged about 35 hours.

That's a lot of levels. Well it will give me something to do while I wait for the install this spring. It'll add some bling bling to my engine bay. Thanks

I wonder if this polish will withstand the effects of nature? If not, is there anything out there that will help preserve the luster? I'd hate to spend 35+ hrs. only to have the turbo tarnish in a couple of months.
