Well this belt made it one hundred miles. I pulled over when i heard it slapping against the hood. I was ablle to make it home fine. I took the supercharger off tonight. We are going to race at grove creek tomorrow. Hopefully i cna take a long lunch and get it installed again. I had used a 1.4mm washer. I'm putting in a much thicker 3.4mm washer since it jumped off the same side. I'm guessing i broke the record for the most belts in that amount of time. It was rubbing so hard the belt ground into the bracket now i know exactly where to grind! I changed the plugs and my ses light went off. The car was running so awesome. 4th gear rubber! I gteched a 0-60 in 5.58 with a full tank of gas and two people in the car.

 

the car should run much better, friction on the belt is not good. if you got away with a 100 miles reshim it like you just said with a thicker washer and that should fix the alignment problem.

 

i took a picture of Cassidys belt yesterday at the meet. it is quite close.

 

What's wrong with that? Mine's the exact same way..
