I don't know about you guys... But if my minds remembers correctly, the stock gap is .44 for a max. Z's stock are .40. When people boost more, they'll usually reduce the gap to .36 w/ a colder plug.
Wouldn't it help to reduce the gap a little as well, maybe to .40 for you sc'd and turbo'ed max's?

Yes. The rule of thumb I've seen here is ~.004" for every 50 hp over stock. I've got my plugs gapped to .036".
