how much boost can be put on the 4th gen engines stock internals before the engine goes boom? has anyone put 10psi of boost form a turbo on stock internals? what have your out comes been?

I will be intercooled, but larger injectors, im not sure yet

 

if the car is totally dyno tuned at 10 will the engine be fine?

 

Its not a matter of "PSI" its more about how well its tuned and how hard its driven. But if you want safety, I'd say 10psi for reliability. We'll talk...

 

10 psi is fine. i have ran as high as 14 psi untunned. no detonation. . after kind of tunning it i have taken up to 16psi. detonation. . reliablity i'll say 7 to 10psi. . The highest I ever went is 18psi. Thats when i blew my motor. my **** was fast for couple of seconds.lolz.
