It's not worth the extra 5hp to me for the costs/noise addition of a test pipe.

As it is normally, I am usually at about 1000-1100 when cruising at 65mph and rarely go over 1250 on the EGT even at full boost. With the upped Octane, I am at 1200 when cruising on a straight flat freeway.
Don't count on that helping DETONATION. Dump in a gallon or two of 100-octane with your 91-93 pump gas for some REAL points. Also, if you had pre-ignition, you wouldn't be driving it anymore.

Hmmm.
I'll spend some more time this weekend looking for any misalignments/exhaust leaks some more.
Gotta do my brakes anyway - so may as well.
I didn't realize that octane booster stuff was so worthless....guess It's all psychological. I'll keep a better eye on the EGT on the next tank.
ANy other suggesstions on the power loss?
