Freaking Oil Leak!
Cr*P!! Just drove my car out of my garage and I noticed on the floor that I was losing oil. With the engine running I looked underneath and saw the oil just oozing away! Upon further inspection it looks like the oil return line may have popped off. Either I didn't tighten it enough and it popped off or I didn't tighten it at all.

Oh crap! I hope not!! When I drove it back into the garage I didn't hear any slipping!
Now that I've considering the proximity of the outlet there's a good chance that it probably has oil on it.
I won't know until I get home from work and take a look.

Welcome to the NW Oil Leak club, BlackCat!!!
I've got 2 myself...1 on the oil T (fixing this weekend) and one directly above the driver's side of the alternator that I can't figure out where it is coming from for the life of me because it is not visible even from underneath the car (I can see it dripping off the exhaust manifold pipe, but not where exactly above that).
I wish my problem was as easy as the oil return hose.

Yeah i agree, to be safe the belt should be changed. . the oil drain back hose i bought from stillen was actually a little long and that caused a couple of kinks. We ended up cutting small pieces off the ends so that it didn't bend as much when installed.

Whew!!!! Well 4 hours of (I guess the bright side is that I'm more and more better at it!) pulling the mounting plate off and remounting it I reconnected the hose PROPERLY this time. I am so lucky that the belt did not get oiled in the process! I still hate putting in bolt #14 (underneath the idler pulley) but I was able to remount the idler pulley alot faster this time. No more oil leaks but I still check the rear view mirror for any streaks of oil.

you know it is bad if you can see the oil leaks from the rear view...
hope it does not ever get that bad...
I have fought this same animal before an dhope to have put it away for a while...my latest oil seepage came from the Stillen Oil cooler filter fitting not being tight enough...but after an oil change two weeks ago...I think I got it beat.
