I need to read the FAQ and IMPORTANT threads before posting a question
It's always an ongoing discussion. A LOT of former supercharged guys transfered to turbo for more torque.
The advantage of a turbo from a super is that when tuning a turbo.....it's easier to achieve what you want out of it rather than w/ the super.
But be ready to spend AT LEAST:
-$3500 for a supercharger
-$5000 for a turbocharger
unless you know someone.

Wait until I iron out all the kinks in my new Roots supercharger setup. Once I get it tuned and working right, I'm hoping it will be killer. I'm already seeing almost 7lbs. of boost right off idle (2000rpm)....

it is faster than a supercharger any dayThat maybe true for a centrifugal SC. For root or screw-type SC, it’s different. Maybe Craig’s car will prove it.
