Blitz SBC ID:Wiring the ignition timing signal

Aight guys i have the Sbc ID ebc with the Power meter ID and i just bought the optional harness which can datalog up to 3 signals from the ecu. now this is the plan i want to wire the blitz combo to the cars ignition signal so i can tune the safc 2 high throttle settings by making a run in third gear from 2,000 rpm to 6500'ish starting across the board with a little richer settings from the final 3000 rpm low throttle settings. then i will replay the timing signal and if i see flattening or dipping i will add fuel and if not i will lean out the richness until perfect. now on this wiring schematic it shows me that the only signals that i can use is the 6 coilpacks.

do i really want the tap all the coil pack signals into one wire going to the sbc? i feel like im over looking something.

thanks;
Pawn
