as titled. I tried to put the stock belt on while keeping the smaller tensioner pulley. It turned out that I have to use stock pulley instead because the one from Stillen kit/DanNY is too small. Just want to let you guys know in case someone's trying to go back to NA temporarily...either use stock pulley or use a shorter belt by an inch or 2.

I drove the car for 2 weeks with the stock belt and smaller tensioner pully...one little squeak here and there, but no problems at all.

it still fits...but it is loose and I can bend it more than 90 degree. I turned the adjusting bolt all the way down too....

I've got the ASP one. I assume they're the same size though.

alright...I think I found out why.

1.I am still using Stillen's pulley bracket.
2.the alternator is still attached to the SC mounting plate.

The bracket mounts right up to the VQ. When I bought my 5th gen SCer the old guy was using the plastic pulley as his tensioner pulley until I gave him back the spare stock one.

Just took my V2 off last night on my AE.
I'm sure you fixed the problem but maxi-overdose is right... the stock max belt on my 5th gen was squeeking like crazy fully tightened. I bought a 42" and 41.5"
The 42 was a b**** to get on but was a perfect fit.

I ran the "oil in" right to the "oil return," disconnected and plugged the recirc valve and all is perfect.
"must be a 5th gen thing"

I'll be making numerous trips between chicago and New york, and don't want to worry about belts or sensors going out on the road during the winter. I miss it already
