so, tell me about the fuel system. Is it vital that i get a new fuel pump if I'm getting 370cc's, and planning to run 8psi boost? How far will the stock fuel pump go?

yes! it is a must.


stock pump will get you ~ 50psi but it can vary. I have seen a 5th gen with a strong stock pump running 11psi of SC boost and putting down 270whp. but he was running hella lean though, like 15:1 AFR. he blew his engine in the end.

Mishap

You can get the Walboro for like $85...no reason not to get one. You don't need as high fuel pressure but you will need higher flow to handle the 370's.

I have to agree. With the 370 cc/min injectors you don't need much increase in fuel pressure. People are running 3:1 FMUs, so with a 10 psi boost and reduced base fuel pressure (so to be not too rich during idle), they are getting seeing around 50-55 psi fuel pressure. I've tested my oem fuel pump and it maxes out at 60 psi. But fuel flow capacity decreases with pressure, and since the oem pressure limit is only 60 psi, I think it is wise to play it safe and get the Walbro. They are a lot cheaper than a new engine, and they are easy to install.
