Does anyone have info. on how to install a vortech s/c on 96se Max?

so ur saying there is no difference in stillen and vortech? Or would the install be the same

 

VStillen uses the Vortec SC and you can't install a Vortec SC without Stillens maounting plate. So they are both the samething.

 

like I said... you should read the "FAQ", or the stickies on the top. And throughly read though them... you will gain some valuable insight in these systems, and you will slap yourself silly for asking these questions
BTW, vortech is who makes the superchargers... and stillen uses a vortech supercharger included in a KIT for us to install in the car.

isn't there a 1 hose difference for installing a s/c on a 96 max??

sorry for the misunderstanding, i have a 2000 max with s/c. i am planning on taking the s/c off and installing it on my 96. i've heard that there is only 1 hose that is different. thanks for the help guys!!

 

Might want to ask jay25. He's the only one that has successfully put a 5th gen kit in a 4th. He could tell you for sure.

The charge pipe is going to be different also. 4th gen have the MAF on the charge side of the SC. 5th gen does not.
Other than that I don't know for sure.
