Walbro Fuel Pump Part Numbers?

I am trying to buy a Walbro Fuel Pump for a buddy of mine, but I cannot remember the part numbers for it.

I know that it is a Walbro GSS342, but what is the FPD*** or something like that? I thought that our fuel pump for the 4th Gen is for the same one as the Talon or Eclipse or something like that, but I forget. Anyone remember?

Also, anyone know the cheapest place? Thanks all.

Would I need the High pressure 255 for running 9 PSI?

What would constitute getting the high pressure model?

If you are using the Vortech FMU (bumps FP as boost goes up) then you will want to use the HP version... FP can reach up to 100psi at high boost.

OK that answers that question.
Second how can I visually inspect my FMU disc to check if its the 8:1 or 6:1?

Will I need an adjustable FPR? Or does the FMU already take care of this?

You would have to measure the disc inside the FMU (I don't know the specs).

The base FP will increase to about 42psi... you would need a separate "adjustable FPR" as THAT vortech FMU does not control it... I believe the the Super FMU from Vortech does, IIRC.

SUPER FMU hmmmm…. Sounds like that maybe easier to install than a separate adjustable FPR.

What are the consequences of the raised base pressure? Will the car idler higher/burn more gas....?
