Routing the Belt...

V1 Blower...V1 Mounting Plate...
I forgot to look at how it came off but I replaced the belt and need to get this one put on right...

Maybe a good explination, drawing or possibly any pictures

Did you check out ptatohed's pdf file up in the stickies section?
There's a pic on page 63 and 74 of 127 of the pdf file showing the belt route.

Yea I see that but it doesnt show how it goes after the pulley behind the blower

Hey Matty
Here's a pic of the V2 mounting plate without the blower:

I know that there are differences between V1 and V2 but the concept should still be the same.

The big round hole at the top is where the pulley will be. See that shaved post in the middle? The belt runs straight down from the pulley past it to the idler pulley which is at the bottom. The belt will go under the idler pulley from left to right. The other belt will go past that tall post below the oblong hole and straight down. Hope that helps.

Mattl,

you should see two flat spots on the posts where the bolts go through. The belt needs to route through there. The rest should be easy. If not... bring it to me.

yea Im waiting for the belt to come in at the Auto Parts store...I understand but its pretty different than the V2 Plate
