Where can i get rubber hose that connects blower to pipe?

just wondering if anyone ever had to buy a new one or went intercooler setup and doesnt need there's. Mine has a crack causing boost leak and i want to replace it. Was wondering why i only seen like 8 psi tops! . I'm going to try Home depot or autozone on monday but just wondering if anyone either has an extra one or knows good affordable spot to get one. Its the 90 degree elbow type hose that connects blower to the pipe that runs down the front of the engine bay.

your not going to find that in Homedepot thats for sure. You need to get yourself a 90degree silicone elbow coupler. That is probably going to run you around 50-75 depending on who you get it from. Those 90s are expensive because of the elbow. The straight couplers are usually 20-30 because easier to make.

"super sized steel tightening thing" - Is that a newbie technical term?

BTW, you cannot over tighten that thing to make it fit to the pipe, its not going to work. Need to get the same ID size for each side of the 90

if you dont have the funds, just use some silver tape and wrap it around until you can get you a good rubber coupler

YOu can also just call Stillen and they'll send you one for $20.00

That's what I did - it also is better because it has the flat edge at the back of the coupler at the hose, leaving room for your headlight harness to fit in there.

Look in the Sticky in this forum for the Part number.

I may be wrong but I think the silicon couplers are reducers. I think on my v2 they call for a 2.5 to 2.75. I checked in to getting some new ones as well and they are pretty pricey.

yes in f*cking deedy! 75 mother father dollars!. It is 2.5-2.75". I'm going to try local shops and see if i can get something. Dixit, i cant tighten it? it has to be a perfect fit? i cant use a steal clamp to tighten the hose onto the blower? like i do on the throttle body?

To put it lightly, hell no you cant tighten down 1/4" with a Tbolt clamp or worm hose clamp on a silicone coupler. Its not designed to do that.

Has to fit exactly.
