Emanage Help ( And Future Faq )

Can I get some help to jumpstart my emanage install?

Specifically I would be looking for what rotary switch settings to use and a pinout or any help on ecu wires

I intend to run the ignition and injector harnesses... and have seen the posts about frying coils. Can I wire a resistor in and be ok? Specifics please on the ignition wiring & hookup.

Thanks

you aint lying!!!

the pin-out and rotorys should be the same as the 99, 7-0-1

you'll need diodes wired in-line on the ignition harness to prevent burning the coils...you'll have to contact Dixit, he knows the part #s and sent me and Redmax them when we did his Emanage. you won't be able to advance timing with this method, only retard, but thats the most important for our application anyways

FYI:

Firmware 1.39 has been released. If you are a VQ30, your dial settings should be 7-0-1. If you are a VQ35, you need to change from 7-0-1 to 7-0-B when you upgrade to 1.39 or higher.

If you have the PC Support Tool, you can download the upgrades from http://www.mohdparts.com/ in the E-Manage section.
