Hey I knew you'd be working so I didn't expect a long chat.. Thanks for spending the time you did with me and a couple shot's on the bottle.
Looking at the VE setup you have there's only a few things that would need to be changed when setup happens for a turbo. There's no problem making all the stock manifolds work the way mine do. The throttle body placement is different along with several other minor things that I could see. Definaltly a do-able situation. You'd just run the IC piping in and out on the Drivers side like we discussed.
You already re-located your battery correct? That's the big empty spot there where mine was right...?
Do you guys have to pull the plenum to get out spark plugs and change valve cover gaskets? If so.. yuck...!

Dam I wish I was closer to you guys. But im in S.C. I wish I had some maxima surport around here. The closest person to me is BIGLeman WIth a na 4th gen and I know of now one else in sc.Plus I would like to ride in a bottle fed max too. Guess Im going to have to get me a bottle then.
it was nice talking to you to, your definitly very very knowledgable when it comes to turboing just about anything and i appreciate you stoping by and taking a ride (even though bottle pressure was down around 700psi) but it still was rippin um loose in 2nd on the on ramp, i just wish i could have had alittle more time to talk but im sure youll be in st louis again somtime and by then who knows maybe ill have a turbo max. ill let you know if i need any help with my setup thanks again

I'll be out there again this summer to visit my Aunt and Uncle again. I think we are planning on going to Six Flags. Proably be a week there. I might be able to bring the Max this time. Xmas gifts take room!
Anyway... If you do end up needing help give me a shout.. Wish someone around here had a VE that I could make all the pipes for so I could just duplicate it for anyone else wanting to do the same thing.
I checked my plugs today.(YOU SHOULD TOO!) and they all look great. I put another turn on the wastegate and it's reading 10-11psi. I don't hear any detonation or sudden loss of power (going into knock timing).
So far so good..
