Cobra MAF Calibration

What is needed to calibrate the Cobra MAF to be used with our cars?

I found one on the sr20 boards and want to know the pros and cons before getting it.

I know that Matt, Alex and Stephen might have some answers!

JWT ECU would do it. There are probably other ways of tricking the ECU as to what maf is being used but I haven't researched the topic.

Adjusting the fuel pressure might get it working until Ash gets done. Or of course and AFC. Wideband it to be sure.

here you go apparently the cobra maf needs a subtractor unit to make over 350 and apparently the tt maf doesnt need the sub to make it to the 350

http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=102789

And reading through this the cobra maf was used in the begining because it was cheaper and now that the tt maf is cheaper why not go with it

heres some links on the sub-unit :

Mafs Wiring information

You could use the z32 maf wiring diagram on the board and use it to convert the colors in the cobra pdf.
