Need Clucth Suggestions

I have almost 50k on my ACT HDMM with stock flywheel. I don't mind the extra pedal pressure. I will be getting a Fidanza (12lb) and don't know which clutch to go for. 350whp is my final goal. I think it is between the ACT stage 1 (what I have now) , ACT extreme or a Clutchnet with the 6 puck. Just the ones I picked out.
Looking for any good thoughts on what the best combo would be. I do like the quick and solid engagement feel. I don't want something that will tear my tranny apart either.
Thanks for everyones help

What Your looking for is exactly what I am doing!

I have read a lot of posts on here about the kevlar clutchnet/and clutchmaster clutches and then I saw what they are charging! 650.00 fot the whole package: clutch psi plate t/o bearing etc.

So then I called my local driveshaft/clutch place, they're really good I have used them before, but not for clutches, mostly for my truck and they use top notch parts spicer etc... and anyways i told them what I wanted ( to reuse my act psi plate and have my sprung hub relined with kevlar/carbon) and the price was quoted at 140-150.

So that is what I plan on doing. If you want any info on it let me know, or find a local shop clutch/driveshaft shop around there. Make sure they're good though.

Could I reuse my pressure plate and use a new disc...? My pressure plate still grips strong. I was dumb and did a little burn out for some of the org members, I could smell the clutch when I got home.
Then the surface of the pressure plate would need resurfacing right?

How much is a clutchnet with a 6 puck disc? $600 make me say F#@K that and just go with another ACT

I thought about that. It looks to me that the surface area on the excedy pressure plate look the same as the act's. The 3 holes on the contact area. I will check it out

So JClaw, do you like your clutch? How many miles did you go before you could control the chatter or smoothness?
When I had my ACT installed something went very wrong and I ended up paying $2500 and 6 months of in and out of down time so that is why I am asking these clutch Q's. I went 50k boosted on stock clutch to its death and installer didnt resurface my fly, then the guy that fixed didnt either. My tranny broke twice within 500 miles of each other. I have been somewhat tramatized

$435 is not bad, I have found the Act stage 2 for $415 I think and Act stage 1 for $375.
It sounds tempting to just get a new disc but I learned my lesson the hard way going cheap before. Subs1000w, did you resurface your act pressure plate?

I think the clutchnet is starting to win me over here. Would you guys think the clutchnet would be harder on car than the act?

Is the clutchnet with 6 puck disc considered a stage 2 or 3? The site is not clear on that from what I can find.

Have you called and consulted the various clutch companies? That might get better results. I have never inquired about clutches for that power level. The amount of torque is what really determines what clutch you need, and the disparity of HP/TQ on the typical SC maxima might make folks think you need more clutch than you really do. 350whp SC maximas put out about 280tq right?

The clutchnet 6 puck is basically on-off... it's slippable but just barely. Clutch chatter is on the order of scary at times, as in I get worried about the possibility of drivetrain damage when just driving out of my driveway.

You get to adjust the power level you need with the clutchnet. I told them 300 crank Torque. 50% resistance over stock.

It's installed in the tranny/motor that's on the chain block, but I haven't tried it yet. The hard part of the swap is electronics.
