The ECU will compensate at idle once it warms up. On startup, the engine is running off of the stock program and it will run rich, but once the engine warms up, the ECU adjusts. On the dyno, my car idled at 14:1 A/F, close enough to stoich.
Glad you solved the problem Wizard. I hate to hear these types of things though. Then I always end up thinking, "I could be down on power because of _______." I usually put knock sensor in the blank but now I'll put coil packs in there too.
