well i am screwed!!

for those of you who don't know i have been trying to get my emanage and PE 510cc injectors to work but have had issues. When i would start my car it would rev to on its own to 3k rpm and then would drop to 1000 rpm where it would spit and sputter for a couple of seconds then die. I originally thought it was a problem with the injectors so installed the stock injectors back and now it does the same thing. The only change that was made was the walboro installed and removed the TREX auxillary pump

So to sum it up the car is still doing the same as stated above with no emanage, stock injectors, walboro fuel pump. Can't really get a base fuel pressure since the idle is so irratic but it think it was 40psi.

This narrows it down to a massive vaccum leak or a the sealing off of the EGR pipe for the header install. Keep in mind the injector install requires the removal of the upper intake manifold. Any ideas?

I don't recall people having problems because of EGR removal...

the way i did it was i just hacked the pipe that goes from the rear exhaust manifold to the egr system. I then crimped the end shut and made sure it was 100% air tight.

what are some symptoms of a bad primary o2 sensor?

What are your vacuum readings while the idle is fluctuating so badly ??

well guys i am proud to say i just got a vaccum reading of 0 WTF?
the boost guage did not budge from 0 all the way from the startup rev to 3k rpm to the drop to 1000 rpm and sputtering.

I forgot to look at the guage last time because i was to busy yelling and punching the dash board

i have checked the manifold and all the connections seem to be hooked up. What could i be missing that would cause such a massive leak.

The sealing off of that EGR pipe couldn't affect vaccum could it? I would think it would be the same as plugging a vaccum line

well if your boost gauge isnt moving....that might be your leak and causing such a bad vaccum system. i would check the lines for your boost gauge and the lines you have it tapped into.

You have probably fooled with many vaccum lines when removing the manifold...you are missing something especially since your Gauge is staying at 0 the entire time

Check the big vacum line that goes from behind the brake master cylinder to the intake plenum. Also retrace all your vacuum lines.
