It's a crappy feeling when you fix one issue and another starts.

Issue #1: Wastegate opens at idle sometimes for what appeared no reason - Turns out that it was because the wastegate and the boost controller had 2 different vacuum sources. That difference was enough to cause it to open. I fixed it by tapping the vacuum @ the turbo compressor port. Boost would come on fine, it would hit dead on whether it was 7 psi, 10 psi, 14 psi etc... it never undershot or overshot at all.

Issue #2: Now, the car won't boost past about 9.5 psi. As far as I can tell, there are no boost leaks. At idle, it idles fine, 18-19 mm HG. I took apart the SBC-ID solenoid and the solenoids don't smell burnt or anything. I siliconed all the fittings that the SBC-ID gets vacuum/ boost readings from, so it's not that. I'm out of ideas here. I went ahead and ordered a 10 dollar manual boost controller to see if I can get more boost, which would eliminate a Boost leak issue, I guees I can isolate that possibility when the MBC arrives this week. Anyone have this problem with the SBC-id, or any suggestions?

Found something interesting. The rubber gasket between the upper/lower intake plenum can be moved around etc... Guess I'll either get a new one or tighten this one down.
