Z32 on Charged Side Update

Well I wanted to go to the meet today so I figured I would take it easy on the drive there, and if It acts up I figure ill just turn around, worse case senerio. it was 100 miles, 50 there and 50 back

Well I started the car and it was idleing at 1500, but fluctuating alot...just up and down up and down while it warmed up...I proceeded to get right on the highway...well the ride went perfectly..I got down to the parking lot and let it idle and it was idling perfectly.

I started it up to leave and was fine...drove all the way with no problems, no bucking at all while driving like I was experiencing a few days ago with it wired up differenty...

After I got home I let the car sit for about 3-4 hours, then started it to see if it went away...well it didnt...cold start, (after 3-4 hrs or over night) doesnt seem to idle correctly...either it being a faulty MAF or it being on the on the charged side...its amazing thought..I start it, revs acts fine, then like 3 seconds later it dipps and starts acting really loopy...it fluctuates like 2 to 300 RPM's

I ordered a different MAF from a J30 on Fri...If this doesnt seem to want to act correct on cold start up, I will most likely reflash the JWT to the A32 program

-matt

BTW: the meet was awsome...saw alot of great cars and also saw my twin paul we turned alot of heads over there man

Hmmm...makes me think even more that it is a faulty MAF. Good luck and let us know what happens. Did you get into boost on the drive at all?

Alittle bit but I really didnt get on it all that much...

The MAF is in the mail..if that doesnt fix the cold start issue, Im gonna call up JWT and see maybe there it something wrong with the computers open loop program ??...if not, its on to the A32 MAF

Try separating the two MAF grounds, if not already....one to the old MAF harness's ground and the other to a chassis point ground.

Just something to try.
