It depends on some things. What can your fuel set up handle? How much boost do you want to run? Do you have a boost controller?

I use a .4 bar spring w/ no boost controller.

i plan on using a boost controller. i'm not sure which one yet, but definately not the avcr. i've had alot of problems with those in the past. i plan on running around 12psi after i get injectors but before then, just around 4psi. all i have now is the cartech fmu and the walbro 55...
do i need to get two fpr's?

With stock injectors and an FMU 6psi is about the most your gonna want to run. After that get a larger spring closer to 12 psi but small enough you can still turn the boost down if you need to. The further away you get from the wastegate spring the more chance of boost flucuation you get with the boost controller...ie; running 15 psi with a 4lb spring.

Ideally you want to run the wastegate spring as close to your desired boost level as possible for the reason mike gave, but also you may want to be able to turn the boost down some if you are having problems or whatever so keep that in mind, and you obviously can't run less boost than your wastegate spring is. Just get a low boost spring for if you need to fall back to a low boost level, and a higher boost spring for when your car is running well. They only cost like $15.
