Guys,

I'm about ready to take the plunge and order some gauges. My question pertains to fuel pressure. I know that being boosted raises our fuel pressure quit a bit when at WOT, so.... is a 100 PSI Fuel pressure gauge enough? Right off the bat, I think I'm going to be close to 100 psi (I'm currently using the 3.25 pulley), so I'm thinking I may need a gauge that goes up to about 130 PSI. Yes/no considering I plan on putting on a 3"/2.87" pulley on here shortly? Finding a gauge that goes that high really limits what's available.

I've got a 100psi gauge with my 3.125" pulley. I don't think it hurts to have a 130psi gauge either.

 

When 100 psi fuel pressure gauges aren't enough, it's time to start thinking about larger injectors.

As Stephen Max said... if you're running that kind of pressure, you need to get the proper injectors and dial back some of that fuel pressure.
your fuel lines and pump aren't designed for that kind of pressure.

 

Thanks for the input guys. So, what are the proper injectors given my level of mods/plans? 370's?

Just a FYI, I'm dropping pulley sizes right after I install the water/air aftercooler. The drop in pulley sizes will compensate for any boost losses due to the aftercooler, and since it's safer boost with an aftercooler, that's even more reason to drop pulley sizes.
