Ok I know what's happening now - I talked to Kenji.
Last time I updated I said the add-on board was done... and it was. But in the meantime I didn't know that after they built it it failed the testing phase. So they redesigned it. I think at this point they are still working on the second one and it still has to be tested.
But Kenji did mention that he has urged them to make it a priority project as Greddy USA and Japan have both been getting lots more calls about the VQ30 engine.
Therefore the time frame right now is 1 month to 1.5... to get the first working prototype (assuming this one tests out fine). After that it will probably take another month for it to go into production, at which time it seems like it will be available to the masses for a small charge, probably similar to some of the other add-ons such as the A/F harness etc.

Great job again on research and testing Dandy. I know Ice is always on the case as well. I have the e-manage blue now but based on all the research and input from this thread, I just got my EU the other day. E-manage blue for sale boys!! Good deal. I'll keep keep checking back for info n the crank issue. Everything else is good though right? Any new info?

I see valve timing on the logger.. was that there before? Can't remember.
I'm hoping to have another update real soon... been meaning to call Kenji for days but been away on business. Just too darn busy lately but I'll find out what's up.

Dandy,
Make sure when you report back to Kenji that you tell him they STILL need to fix the software logic for the RLC map to hold RLC IPW between the HOLD and LIMIT and not just for 0-5ms Wait Time intervals.
That scenario may work for Honduhs or whatever just until they pass the point of fuel-cut, but on our cars and I'm sure others, the fuel-cut is continuous.
Last, I'm not sure how the EU determines the EXACT point of fuel-cut, ie IPW falls some percent I'd guess, however that transition between when the stock ECU cuts IPW from 11ms to 1.2ms and the RLC map IPW being supplemented...needs to be adjusted so that at no time you end up with ECU IPW + EU IPW. IMO, the ideal solution would be for the EU map to determine the final IPW no matter what the stock ECU outputs instead of just adding/subtracting from the stock ECU IPW.
