No, just for a turbo setup. Will in no way work for a supercharger.
Thanks for the update mingo. Sorry to hear about your own troubles. I hope everything turns out okay and you end up making some money on these in the long run after you get a better manufacture.

Did the manufacture agree to make the 10 sets? Also, are the 10 sets going to be made sometime after the sponsered car is finished?

the sponsor car has already been completed. the owner of the car is getting other work done to it for shows.. the 10 sets were suppose to be finished a long time ago.. i don't even have a turbo on my car.. so trust me this wasn't just a personal project.

Damn! I was all excited. How about SSR Engineering? He offered above that he can do it but it may cost a lot more then planned.

I meant another one. If not, try one that specializes in making turbo kits.

don't know about the price yet, but the initial price is going to cost alot more because i'll have to fly back there with all the fixtures, i might even have to ship some of the fixtures because it's oversized.. and i doubt they'll let me order 10-15 at a time.

i know that in most cases they will only allow large quantity orders, which is why i doubt i'll outsource for maxima parts, no disrespect, but the maxima market is not the best market for certain parts.

i've found manufactures that will bend, and others that will weld, so i might just have to go through different manufactures to complete the project. and i'll have to find another one just to cnc cut the brackets and flanges. so that makes 3 different manufactures just for one item.. GRrrrr..

Given the flexability of a turbo kit over the Superchargers i am becomming more and more interested in this as it materializes. Without having to reread this entire thread can you just hint at what is included in the kit and what we would have to supply ourselves? Obviously the tuebo is an item we would have to source.IS the I/C included? Any information would be valuable.

as for the fifth gen i can supply the intercooler along with the intercooling pipes, however, i cannot confirm that about the 4th gen because the manufacture only cranked out one kit, and it's on the sponsored 5th gen, and the sponsored 4th gen was not ready for testing.

So as it is now, because i am a 4th gen/5speed MT. If i do get this kit it would require me to source my own intercooler and piping?

Cool keep the more user friendly this kit the more appealing it is. If piping and intercooler is supplied all that is left for me to get would be turbo, oil lines, couplers?

I spoke with them on the phone (westcoastbending.com) when I was considering doing a Turbo setup.

They were easy to talk to and pretty knowledgable. They may even have welding and CNC reosurces.....
