dont you mean how long did it last before it broke down? i see many ppl here replacing thing parts to support higher boost, not because they broke.

Ive got 10k on my kit and basically havent had to do a thing to it in 9500 miles.. (workin kinks out) It all depends on how well the Kit is built. In that time i even drove it to Phoenix and back (chicago).

I blew my tranny after 4 months, which was probably around 7K miles of driving. It happened on the street while accelerating in 1st gear, but it was directly related from overboosting at the track.

Could have lasted a longer if I didn't trade the Max in. Cylinders #1 and #5 (or was it #6?) were weak due to the fuel pump not working correctly, but the car was still drivable and boosting normally.

Anyone need a 5th gen turbo kit? Will fit a 4th gen with 2 fixes.

blew the auto tranny, about 8psi street racing, blew the motor, about 10 psi, setup for 8 psi, due to street racing

after I set it up for 10 psi, nothing has broken due to the boost

Of all the things that have broken on my car, the only one that I can blame on the turbo is the tranny gear set warping. Course the car had 120k on the clock, so that could be argued.
Over 5 years I've thown out 7 wheel bearings, 3 on the driver side and 4 on the pass side. come to find out it was a warped wheel that the tire balancer never mentioned.
Now nitrous was a different story, burned a valve and melted a piston. Smoked 2 clutches and 2 motor mounts. 4 of the 7 wheel bearings were during the nitrous era.

Most recently the RVM under drive pully has parked the car yet again, but luckly I just so happen to have a spare timing cover laying around.

If I had it all to do over again I would have left out the nitrous and the underdrive.
