Use the pinout in your FSM to determine which wires are what on your ECU and then follow the installation diagrams in the EU instruction booklet. It should be fairly straightforward if you just take your time and step through it carefully.

Just off the top of my head the basic things will be TPS, MAF, INJs, IGN, IAT, coolant temp, maybe KS, Crank POS and Crank REF, VSS and then if you have a WB and/or MAP sensor... I could be forgetting something but if you just work through the installation manual it's fairly well detailed.

Don't forget to set all the jumpers before firing it up.

Enjoy the EU! I sincerely hope you never have to call Greddy for any reason, what a hassle dealing with them.

If you need any help feel free to contact me. If I'm not around Icey or Mingo can problem help you too.

But anything 300-400 ohm, 1/2 watt is what I'd recommend. I think 1/2 watt is better than 1/4 watt for the voltage the unit sees. I can't remember the size of resistor I used.. maybe 330 or 390... I'd have to look back and find out but I just got a standard size from an electronics store, just what happened to be readily available.

You'll probably be ok... I'd use the 1/4 watts and see how it goes. I just went the conservative route.

I don't think having them connected gave me a problem but I did disconnect them anyways until we get the update.

Did you get everything figured out now or do you still have any issues?

Not necessarily.. just depends what you want to do with it or if you want to see it on the logs.

I do have mine hooked up though.

You may as well leave them disconnected for now.. the EU can't read the signals yet until we get the update.

No....

When you do, verify your fans kick on at the correct temp(check FSM). I didn't have my EU jumper correct and the fans didn't come on. I believe default from Greddy is correct though...just double check.

Yeah sorry jeremy what I meant was that it's not a problem to leave the water temp unconnected, but if you wish to trigger an output relay/solenoid etc based on coolant temp then you'll need it hooked up obviously. I should have been more clear.
