Where to get pipping for S/C...

Hey guys, as some of you may know I'm gathering parts to supercharge the 2k1 over the winter. I bought Matty's V1 starter kit which is expect to arrive tommorow, now I need to get some pipping, so where can I get it ? I would think that Alu pipping is probably's best.

Thanks for any links or expert advice.

Cheers

Don't know quality of piping, but there are tons of ebay sales on painted aluminum mandrel bent pipes that include the junctions and T-clamps. All go for around $100.

After spending many, many hours searching for aluminum piping, Ptatohed and I found this guy to have the best selection, best prices, and best customer service. He actually answers emails within 24 hours too!

You buy the pipes/bends/couplers/clamps and cut/assemble it your self.

Do you guys think that the velocity of air would be better if all the pipes are welded together instead of using coupler ?

when i was getting my charge pipe i thought about having everything welded but it was really hard to find the right bends that i needed so i ended up using silicon bends. I just think using the silicon or rubber bends is a lot easier, but get t bolt clamps so nothing comes off.

I'm thinking to start with the 2.87 or 3" pulley, would anyone recommend to have a 3" charge pipe ?

On a 5th gen, IIRC, you can't fit dual 3" charge pipes.... assuming you are routing it exactly how Stillen had it. Don't hold me to this... this is what I remember reading a while back.
