Not a big fan of that kit. The reason is, is you loose a significant amount of power through that drive shaft and what brand blower is that ?? Who would service the blower if anything went wrong ?? Its also pretty weird that the housing is RIGHT against the MAF ??

ALSO: If you look at that picture, that front valve cover is seeing pressurized air. That is a HUGE nono. That motor would last a day.

I can't believe people posted--and are still talking about--that Taiwanese crap in this thread. It's incredible to me that people actually want it.

you are in what?

these will NEVER be made.

if it was easily doable, or in fact doable and he would make a profit, he(or any aftermarket company who wanted to be the sole provider of FI for a 5.5 gen, and make a boat load of profit) would have done it long ago. sorry i don't care what anyone says. matty could make a good chunk of change if it was possible to make a plate to attacked the blower onto. i wish it was already made/possible i'd have one. shelling out 6k for a bolt on turbo kit sucks. then again a RMT is cheap as hell...2.5k...

edit: go buy the one, one page back install it, and let us know how it goes. matty said it's to close to the maf and this is arguable. you could always put the maf right before the tb, or run an intercooler and the maf issue would cease to be a problem. and if you're really serious wouldn't you use a pressure sensor with stand alone? the altima guy pulled amazing times with a similiar set up on only 4lbs of boost.

I really really hate to be the one to bump this, but when I was working on my car recently I got an idea. What about fabbing up a bracket that located a clockwise blower in place of the a/c compressor? There is plenty of room and it would allow one kit to cover 4th 5th and 5.5 gens, aside from chargepipe location.

This seems like a good idea, Kev.

How is your supercharge Max running?

I need to get a ride soon to see how it pulls.

I need to figure out what i want to do next on my max to stay even with you...

There are two shops that I know for a fact can fab up a turbo kit for my 5th gen: SFR and FAT (forcedairtech.com). I am very tempted to fork over 4-5k for a kit, however, there are too many out there...

...I wan't more whining and less sneezing.

And HATE vanity plates, but would LOVE to own a VQ35DESC plate ANYDAY. Matt. Give me a reason to buy a vanity.
