Hi Ladies and Gents,

I know this is a very old thread but I finally have things together to start and look at possibilities in making this happen for good. The first step would require me to have someone in the tri-state area meet up with me that has an 02+, preferably a 2002. Would take a few minutes, I just need to look over things and make measurments. I am currently having a proto-type plate with thermostat housing made up and will be seeing if everything will be fitting or a NO-GO...

Let me know guys

Just a few discussion questions Id like to bring up now. Some might have already been talked about but I figured Id get some new Feedback:

1) This kit will totally do away with the cooler line and will require you to plug up the cooler line at the bottom of the engine. Will this be an issue ? The 3.0L never had a coolant line running down there and I doubt thats its a huge deal.

1.5) Are the bolt patter for both the 3.0L Thermo and 3.5 the same ? I would guess YES since the inner timing cover is the same, right ? How about the alternator location and bolts ?

2) 2002-2003-2004-2005-2006 Are there any difference to whats next to the engine on these years ? All of you know what will be needed to mount this and is it an issue to have to move things ? I just dont know what is added along the years.

3) I will need ONE individual once I get something made up to meet up with for about an hour to measurments. Once that is done I will need someone else's car for a day or two. Or if you have a shop, you can take the plate, blower, feed lines and drain lines and I can come to you. All that will be worked out once I see if this will work

More discussion questions to come

This reminds me of the time I couldn't get my TV to work so I sold my house and bought a new house that came with a new TV.

I know it was 3 yrs old.

I meant Is this V1 or V2 plate can fit on the 6 Gen maxima? Nope, because it wasn't enough of space for SC on the engine bay.

The Wizard: Yep I am.

I agree.

I always thought you could fit an eaton mp90 on but you would have hood clearance issues as well as needing to fab a custom LIM.

To start have a custom double pulley made. Maybe you need a shorter snout...

The motor mount is in the way, easiest way would to be to go around it as opposed to moving it.

blah blah it will never happen imo as these cars get older the people willing to spend the money to make them fast is less and less.

I mean the altima guy did it with his 3.5 but did it all funky like:

Some company was selling a kit like this for the maxima years ago but noone would touch it, I think everyone thought it was for a different engine or something:

Or an M60 with a short snout...
