what did you guys use to keep the Intake Air Temp sensor in place while your rtv/silicone sealant set and cured? Don't think I can hold it in place 24 hours

I do (I think) have the rubber grommet in my elbow. However, in doing a smoke test for vacuum leaks, I found the IAT sensor wasn't securely in the elbow, so it was letting air leach out AFTER the MAFS. I found that by applying pressure to push the IAT into the elbow while sending smoke through the elbow, I could reduce the amount of air leakage.

To eliminate this air gap, I am going to pull it out of the elbow, apply rtv sealant, and stick it back in the elbow. I was asking this question because I wanted to know how people applied pressure to keep it in place while the sealant sets (it aint exactly 2 flat surfaces against one another...).

Any other ideas for making sure air isn't just leaking out of that hole? I DEFINITELY have an air gap there right now...

I also have two screws with a plate on the inside to hole it on. I beleive I used a bit of a sealant when I originally put it on.

RM, something is wrong, because it's a simple bolt up/plug and play application. No sealant necessary. Sounds like you're missing parts.
