HELP ASAP Superchar 2.62 pulley
Were doing a supercharger install, we have a question. The person i bought it said it was 2.87 pulley included, but in ends up its a 2.62. I would like input from people who are currnetly running 2.62 pulley set up. Please post mods that you bought to support this boost level. If please pm, i will give you my cell # so i can ask you couple specific questions.
Thanks
David

You should list if you are auto or 5sp. However, with that kind of boost i would upgrade vb, torque convertor, and add tranny cooler if u auto. If 5sp i would upgrade clutch and maybe a short shifter.

You shouldn't need anything extra to go with the 2.62 as opposed to the 2.87 imho. That's not to say you don't need supporting mods, but both pulleys are well beyond the "just slap it on there and forget about it" stage and you need significant supporting mods to run either safely.
It would be helpful if you listed what you've already got for supporting mods...
Some things that come to mind:
Engine management (SAFC will NOT suffice at this boost level imho, you're going to need to adjust timing if you want your motor to last)
fuel injectors, possibly AFPR and FMU depending on their size and your engine management
Clutch
Some sort of charge cooling
Z32 maf (unless you start doing some engine management trickery to support airflow levels beyond the A32 capability, which can be done)
Those things would be the bare minimum I'd say
Another thing I'd suggest is a 3" exhaust but that's not a mandatory thing.
