Price for a Trade-in, meaning you send your blower in to get converted, will be $900 if you have a V1 Converted or $1200 if you have a V2 Converted. Price also depends on the shape your blower is in. The down time of your car without a blower also is an issue.

The T-Trim is suppose to be a monster compared to the S-Trim. Not many guys upgrade even on the mustang forums because its ALOT more air and boost builds alot faster.

What about having to upgrade injectors, adjusting fuel, timing, and air ? Also the controllers to do this? Unless I'm wrong this is a major project if it's your daily driver and you want reliability!

 

Most people already have the proper tuning tools so it's a non-issue (i.e. emanage/emanage ultimate)...

 

It is a pretty decent upgrade from the S-Trim. It makes the S-Trim look like a toy. More of a race blower, but not as big as like the YS Blowers that are strickly race and a Larger Diameter case. If you do plan on the T-Trim, you have to think more about fuel, timing and such.

How about the Rotrex superchargers?

 

Considering the power from the T-trim upgrade, would it be wiser to convert over to a turbo setup or is the t-trim putting out that much more power than the s-trim to satisfy more of a power gain.

 

Would a T-Trim provide more torque than S-Trim? For example of both put out the same HP would TQ be same or ttrim will be higher?

 

Im not to sure of the exact TQ numbers compaired to the S-Trim, but I know it builds boost faster and flows a heck of alot more air. All-in-all, I think TQ would be a considerable amount higher on the T-Trim.

yeah psi for psi a t trim pushes alot more cfm's which leads to building power quicker and thus more tq for the t-trim over a s/sc trim.

but its loud as heck though

spin the sillyness out of that blower....if you arent then give it to me for my v2 so u dont have to worry about not using it to its potential

old beat up mustang owner: ohh im sorry my blower is a bit louder then i would like.
4th gen v2: ahh how many psi you run?
mustang owner: im not sure, i just go by pulley size...maybe we should do a highway pull?
4th gen v2: well i run like 10 psi so i dunno if you want to
mustang owner: holy **** 10 psi??????? wow what would u run in the 1/4?
4th gen v2: maybe low 13's high 12's in this setup, what would you run?
mustang owner: umm.........i was looking for low 11's maybe high 10's

I just installed a V2 S trim on an 05 mustang GT on saturday and the thing is barely noticeable as far as sound is concerned.

 

the stang i saw sat was a v2 i dunno what trim


the one in that convo was a t trim...and that was loud enough
