How do you guys on your 3rd gens move your filter for your exhaust to clear the filter?

 

Relocate it using the factory stud for a z31 300zx. you unbolt the maxima factory cast relocator and remove the little stud under it and thread in the 300zx oil stud.. works great.

 

does it have to be a turbo or does it have oil feed lines in it.

 

well that is just to move your filter out of the way. To oil your turbo your best bet is to use the factory turbo oiling port on our blocks.. benefit to VGs having been sold turboed. Its a bolt under the Alternator. you use a banjo bolt and banjo fitting to a -4 line.
