WEll first off I can not weld pretty and I probley over weld just to be sure that its seals. The pipes are 2ich to 2.25 for the feed. The back manifold is a modded det manifold and the front is a modded 4th gen manifold. They are equal lenth feed pipes with in a inch. The down pipe is 3ich. I dont have anymore pipes going under the car so no more ground clearence porblems. All the pipes will be heat wraped.

I would try to move the maf closer to the fender so it isn't so close to the feed pipe.

I can't see if you are using anything aside from the feed to support the turbo. Is it mounted to anything else? I noticed that you have those little flex pices so I would imagine it was in your plans to do so at some point.

Yes part of the feed rest on the tranny and right under the turbo its braced to the tranny with a brace.

Not exactly a "hood opener" type of setup but I give you credit for your work.

Lincon 140 wire fed.

Update I been riding around and this set up shows a maf V gain of .24 Over my old set up with the forward y pipe at 1 psi less. The maf has not been moved its in the same place. Spool time increase about 300 rpms. At 9 psi 1 st gear is ok till you hit about 5000 and second is useless in the streets. If you start from a roll in second after you hit 4500 it just goes to spinning. IM liking this turbo so far as they dont make any power at all intill you get to around 12-14 and then on up intill the 30's But it seems to be making some good power at 9 psi on the vq. Im plan on running about 16-18 after I get some more tires and my front end fixed

Cool setup, good to hear that it is working well. I was thinking about doing something similar but the space seemed very tight...looks like you have no ABS?

I was helping a friend out on a turbo setup on his Regal GS, its basically setup exactly the same but we made new manifolds so they face directly toward the driver side and straight into the turbine.

Is your friend on ClubGP? What's his name, just curious. I'm in the w-body crowd in a way since I know SO many people that have them. I also have a buddy with a turbo Regal.

If you ever have to take the manifolds off....... how will you do it ? Cut it off and then reweld it back on ? Looks like you overlooked that step.

Wouldn't OEM or any aftermarket shorty headers for a RWD VQ like a 350Z work better ? I was thinking of doing something similar to my car using those manifolds.... but Neals setup is stuck in my head the whole time, if I could only retain the AC

The det manifold works great. Other manfolds would drop down to far in the back and piping would be and issue in the rear. Now the front is ok but I took a stock manifold and made it go like I wanted it

Nismolgy Im not sure what your saying about wantingto hear this set up?

His name on ClubGP is speeder2000. The car still needs a lot of small things done, the hard stuff, the manifolds/downpipe is basically all done and it turned out great. Ill see if I can find the pics and ill post em up.
