Rich or Lean Condition ??

When you first started your boosted vehicle and the idle dropps really low and almost dies, then idles really funky up and down (up and down up and down) till it settles out, is that a lean condition, or a rich condition ?? Or maybe its a Vac leak ?? Im trying to figured out a problem that im having. Once its started and running for more than 10 seconds, its fine. I thinking rich

I had the same problem....it's almost definitly fuel related. You're running an FMU correct?

I'm getting that condition when I'm waiting at a light. The rpm is at 700 and the fuel pressure is pegged at 34psi. When the idle starts to dip to 600rpm the psi drops to 32 -30psi. This condition started to happen after my rubber fuel line popped off of the fuel rail adapter last week and it has never happened before that. Would that problem be attributed to the Walbro? Fuel filter? I've got the Aeromotive fpr and Begi fmu.

Matty, what does your temp gauge say when that happens? I'm seeing a drop from 800 down to 750 on my gauge.

Its really only when the car is completly cold. ie: sitting over night. Once its warmed up, its perfectly fine. Start up, idles really low, then kicks up, and revs up and down. Its really weird. I remember it doing this a while ago and I cant rememeber how I fixed it. I think its BOV related because I did switch BOV's to a larger one (releasing too much air on start up and messing up idle so the IACV is trying to compinsate)
I am running: NO FMU, AEM FPR set at 34psi, Emanage Ultimate.

Its amazing how sensitive the car is when there is a vac leak after the MAF. The Temp sensor wasnt all the way tight and a bit of air was blowing out of there. Metered air being released it not a good thing. I added a bit of silicone around the temp sensor as well to ensure its perfect.
