What kind of power would I make going with 9psi pulley instead of 7psi one?

I'm in the process of installing my V2 supercharger for my 00 Se auto. The only performance mod I have is cattman y-pipe and rest is stock. I'm debating if I should go with stock 7 or 9psi pulley since I want to keep it a daily driver. My car will have stock injectors and stock fuel pump. I'm hoping for 230-240whp and 225-235wtq.

10 psi pulley. thats the limit before u have to do injectors and stuff. there is no point to run 7 or 9 when u can run 10. its a pain to put pulleys on and off once blower is on the car so just do it now, u will thank me later. with 10 psi pulley and light weight wehels, you should easily put down 250whp with auto.

I'm not planning on doing a 5sp swap so the most I'll run on my car is 9psi. I will added a tranny cooler and will be doing a vb mod once charger is in.

If 9 psi is the most you'll go, then I say go for it. Skip 7 psi and go right on to 9 psi. Do it once, and be done with it. You'll never have to worry about changing the pulley ever again.

You'll easily hit your target goal too.

Your tranny will be toast even with the VB mod and cooler, so just save for the 5speed swap if I was you.

Mind you, my auto tranny was slipping just after 2 months with the Stage 2VB and cooler, and that was on 9psi (3.33 pulley). So good luck.....

So in addition to vb mod and tranny cooler you would need a upgrade torque convertor.

If I have plans to upgrade my torque convertor then I would go with 10 or more. But, I don't have those plans so 9 is the most I'm going with.

u will only see 10 psi at 6000+ rpm, i doubt u will push it that hard on ur auto. so just go with 10 psi pulley and that way u will get ur 9 at lower rpm's. i have 10 psi pulley and i have yet to see above 5psi boost in auto.

Listen to me........ Even with a upgraded torque convertor it still won't help for the simple fact that it's NOT the TC that take the most pounding, it's mainly the small disk like clutches in the auto tranny.... that wear out, thus causing slippage. And if you manual shift with the auto (like I did...lol) it can stuck in between gears.

The TC will only help put the power to the floor during hard launches.

Trust me I've tried everything in my power to save my auto tranny but it just didn't work for me..... I even thought of a built level 10 auto tranny, but with parts and labor it would have ran me about $4k or more which I didn't have. The 5speed swap only cost me $1200 with the manual transmission.

Think about it.....
