SAFCII safe tune?
SAFCII safe tune?
Since i cant access some of the links is there anyone that may be able to tell me some of the settings i will need to put a safe tune on my car to run it? I have a t3/t4 38mm wastegate set at 7psi 2.5 feed pipe and down pipe and 2.5 inch feedpipe. I do have a wb but it is not hooked up as i am waiting on the controler/ reader for it. if any one can help me i would appreciate it.

Best/smartest thing to do is to acquire a wideband with data logging software, and if you get ambitious, maybe even an in cab readout. Then log some WOT runs and adjust accordingly.
IMO, worst thing to do is use someone else's settings.

yea i just was asking for basically first run use. i dotn want to run way lean you know. I have the reader/ controler on the way now so i can use the datalogging but for now i have to drive the car and dont want to have a very lean condition thats all.
You dont want to use anyone elses settings. My setup is street tuned with a SAFC I and an Innovate wideband which has a display gauge. I initially started by just adding fuel all across and then doing WOT pulls and then added/removing fuel. When I dynoed, it was a very flat A/F line around 11.3-5.
or add too much fuel which is not good either. dont do ANYTHING untill you get a wideband man. another dude on here kept on posting about how he should have his tuned, wat corrections to put, etc..., he didnt have a wideband and we kept on telling him not to mess with anything untill he had a wideband. He ended up blowing the motor i believe. so please, just get a wideband as it will be the best investment you make for the car.
