Is it surging? I hear the ssqv but it sounds like you are getting a ton of surge. Your car reminds me of my s/c 99 right down to the wheels. Well i got 3rg gen saw blades.

The ssqv isnt very s/c friendly as it doesnt vent at idle, something a s/c will need. There are better ones for a s/c app out there.

Haha ya, well if you look in my other thread, http://forums.maxima.org/supercharge...d-4-5-gen.html you will see all the tuning problems im having with the emu. The new thing its doing is activating the launch limiter while cruising...

Well i would deff get the tune right and then very soon after replace your bov. I would hate for you to get it together and have the surge kill your blower. Best of luck to you man.

In reference to using a turbosmart blowoff valve on a S/C maxima. That would have the same issue the HKS one has.

Yup, that's surge. I was thinking of fixing it when it was on my car, but well...that obviously didn't happen. Oddly, that S/C has been running that BOV for 5 years so far.

People are always trying to race me thinking I just have a catback. Once I rev it up, they don't really know what to think. I will have new dyno with the new jwt tune, no emanage, and the 3 inch exhaust in a week or two. Im hoping for 425-450 whp and 385-415 wtq.

^^^Then he sold it to me, I had it, I hated it, and put it on a turbocharged car, lol. Blitz makes a huge difference. Oh SSQV put me through 2 rebuilds, I swear it was the culprit. My SC was so quiet before I had this thing. Sucks that the HKS doesnt have an adjustment.

Those would be killer numbers.
What have you changed on your setup besides the EU mappings to raise you from the 300+range to the 400+range?

The 3 inch exhaust. Also, the emu is very messed up. It was costing me tons of power when the first dyno was done. The other problem with the original dyno was the belt slip. The highest boost we saw was 7 psi and it fell lower and lower the higher the engine was revved. I can't even begin to explain how fast this car is. I have driven and ridden in s/c 3.0 maximas and my s/c 3.5 is WAY faster than those were.
