Wooohooo, the car is back on all fours lol, went for a drive for a few blocks, the auto shifts smooth, feels good. I bought some walmart ATF so I can drive it for a couple of weeks to make sure this tranny is good. Then I am going to drain it and put M1 as well as the Transgo VB.

Awesome! It's a good feeling when everything goes as planned. I have a spare VE tranny with 225K miles. It came out of my parts car and the guy said that it was slipping. I only cranked up the car once in order to drive it on the tow dolly. So I don't know if it's worth swapping in just to see if it's a good unit. But there are several known good trannies in my area for only a few hundred bucks.

Yeah man im happy. Went to visit my godson today, the drive was nice. I love the shifts, my other auto didnst shift like this lol. Shifts are quick, smooth, no kicks and no slips. Tranny temp stays pretty solid at 165, but as soon as I start getting on the gas more than usual it starts climbing to 180.

I am going to invest in a real good quality cooler. Mine is pretty big takes up more than half the height of the condenser, and its about 10" wide. But I dont think its too efficient. Dont know if its worth keeping it and just adding a fan, or changing the cooler all together. I was suggested by my mustang friends to put in a Tru-Cool cooler (rated for 40,000 vehicles).

Edit: just placed an order on the LPD47391 Tru-cool cooler. big ****!

Thats exaclty the one I got, Where do you have it mounted? I was thinking of mounting it infront of the intercooler, but might just leave it where i have mine now. on the condenser. Although half of the tranny cooler will be behind the bumper.
