i was tuning tonight, and everything went well. when i got back home, i popped the hood to check everything over, and there was oil EVERWHERE! i mean, theres oil from the timing cover on over to the passenger fender everywhere. Theres oil on my trunk lid!! is that a seal behind the pulley, the teal colored thing? could it be the source of the oil explosion? its the only thing i found that was different. everything else seemed ok. i spent the last 3 hours pulling everything apart and for now im back to NA. what the heck is going on here?
looks like your pulley moved offline and thats the seal for the pulley shaft why didnt you use spacers especially if your using v2 plate tap the seal back in check your timing chain cover make sure eveything is lined up looks like plate shifted

i checked the drain back hose, its fine... no cracks, and it was as tight as can be. the timing chain cover is fine, its running N/A now.

so im right in assuming all the oil just came out of that seal? how could it have come out like that? anyways, so you think all i need to do is tap that seal back in or replace it and try again? i hope thats all it is, id hate to have to send in a rebuilt blower for a rebuild.

Maybe this is related to that shift you noticed where the belt was touching somewhere that it wasn't before.

right, the pulley slid off of the blower a tiny bit. but can it pull the seal with it? lol, i mean, its just the pulley sliding off the shaft. im still trying to figure out how the seal just blew out like that, granted i was pushing this thing hard while tuning.

UPDATE:
spent the early hours tapping the seal back in. i put some sealant on it. i also fixed the pulley sliding off issue. so thats good now. even fixed a slight kink in the return hose. so ill chalk the pulley and kink up to installer error. but i put the supercharger back on, and everything is great now. The blower is even SILENT!!! im guessing before since there was a leak by that seal, it wasnt building sufficient oil pressure to lube the bearing, etc, so now its very quiet. It sounds so much better. I also went ahead and put on a 3.5 inch cold air intake. Its pretty damn sexy. Anyways, it feels awesome. thanks everyone for your help. PIcs and videos coming very soon.
