Big Problem...Help

ok so i've a full dek swap and just got 370cc injectors in the stock de fuel rail. the first problem is the mounting tabs that are welded on don't match the lower intake on the dek. 2nd problem is the the de fuel rail only has one regulator vs. 2 on the dek. 3 problem is the injectors are not able to be swapped over to the dek fuel rail because they drop in vs clip in with the top feed dek injectors.

What has everyone done to get a solution? I'm in need of some injectors that will either fit into my stock dek fuel rail or find a way to weld tabs onto the stock fuel rail in the dek location.

First of to use your DE fuel rail you will need the DE lower intake manifold (needs new holes tapperd). Otherwise it won't work. The least painful way is to just get top feed injector (which I have for sale $60 shipped). Also on the DEK you need to remove one of the FPR. Remove the FPR where you have fuel going in and keep the one where the fuel exits.

Also, if you plan to remove the EGR system and just have it blocked off just know you will not pass an emission test.

Hope that helps a little...

The problem is your trying to install side feed injectors in a top feed fuel setup it won't work. To use those injectors you'll need to use a de lim, fuel rail and injectors clips like stated above or just get some top feed injectors

^^ I think he's not looking for stock injectors since he's boosted. I believe he already has stock injectors running in the car right now. But that is a good price for 6 dek injectors and Im surprised you still have them for sale btw.

To the OP, like it's already been stated, you just cant use that injector with the dek LIM and fuel rail. Best thing for you to do is go to the 350z forums and look for someone selling injectors with the CC rating that you desire. Guys are always upgrading injectors there when they plan on upgrading their existing FI setup with something more extreme. They usually are selling injectors around 370cc. (might be more or less)

And FYI, you can use any injectors that are compatible with any itteration of the VQ35 now.

not to positve but you may be able to get stock cobra 03-04 injectors to work, also found easily from people upgrading, you should have got the whole setup from Cardana, and he should have giving you a heads up atleast.

excuse me? What are you talking about? I posted something for sale and Justin bought several things from me. I shipped everthing out to him the next day because he was in a hurry. I don't know everyone's set up.

...anyway, Justin, if you decide you need a de LIM I will give you one. I have several.

alright guys...yes i jumped on carson's injectors and fuel rail without doing too much research which was MY fault. Its all good, Cardana is a great guy/seller to deal with. I will hopefully find some top feeds so i can keep my stock LIM and fuel rail, worst case i'll get a de lim. my only concern would be mounting points to the OOVI which i believe has to be redrilled. Honestly i would rather go top feed just for the fact that i'm not that confident to redrill the lower with no problems....

ok i was going to try and hook up my fmu before i go ahead and put bigger injectors in. my question is....since i don't need/or am using an aux fuel pump...whats the best way to hook this bad boy up? obviously the vacuum source is self explan. but was wondering it looks like the upper inlet (about half way up fmu) is the inlet and the lower is the outlet but am wondering where the connection point is made...

finally got around to installing my boost gauge and its reading about 17 pounds vacuum at idle. i think i'm having belt slip because im only seeing about 8-9lbs on 11lb. pulley. my question is how tight should the tension be because i feel like if the tensioner is too tight then the belt track will be off.
