hmmm, if your really going to stay at low HP (below 500), then I think 2" piping should be fine. There was a Z that put out about 620whp or so, on STS piping (they come with 2" as well), however he had a stroker kit. I think with 2" we are fine upto maybe 450. Iv been told that 2" piping is maxed out at 580 cfm, and after that resistance goes up and causes loss (more heat, less airflow).
Like I mentioned though, if I were to do it again (or in the far future), I would put 2.25" just for a peace of mind. The main problem with me is that 2" piping sometimes hits speed bumps, so anything bigger would be an issue with scrapping, unless I run oval piping.

Thanks alot!
I don't know how much my t25's will give me... 350 at the wheels will be nice. Anything more, up to 400whp will be icing on the cake. If more is needed for the dragway, a 50 shot of nitrous will do the job.

Very important, add slicks to your shopping list, dont get drag radials or anything, full slicks! with the spool up your going to have and the torque, your going to need it! On the street tires i have no traction on my big laggy turbo, so with your twins, your going to be lighting them up like crazy

imho rmt intercooler piping isn't much longer when stretched out than most people with front mounts less you use a same side ic

I've found a deal on 4 Skyline wheels. 16 x 8 +33 I tought to wrap them with BfGoodrich R1 225/50R16 for track use, the stock 16" for drag and some flashy 18" for the street wraped with 235/40R18. I dont mind burning the 18" one's cuz I don't like them... it came on the car when I bought it. Do you have a recomanded size an brand for drag slicks? I can get BF's drag radial with a discount where I work.

February 26th VQ'ed an I will get the old engine out. BHP Motors will quote me this fryday, he was too busy today. It should take him about 2-3 weeks to complete my engine. After, I should need about 4 to 5 weekends to complete it. So April should be a good bet. I feel like a 5yo kid at christmass eve!

So finally I got my quote. Even hif he's providing the parts, I still save $800 over my first quote. So for $4000 I'll have a fully built engine. Giving me a totaly reliable engine under 400whp.
Block is going to be Bored, honed, magnefluxed, decked.
The heads are going to be planed, 5 angles valve job.
Crank is going to be balanced.
ACL bearings.
Wiseco forged pistons 8.8cr
Eagle forged H-Beams
ARP head studs
Cometic head gaskets
Blue print like he said![Smilie](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
So Streetz... with this one, if boost become too adictive, we shouldnt worry about head lift at 600hp.

If you put standard ARP head studs, thats not much of an upgrade compared to HR bolts, I trust HR bolts alot more than standard ARP's. Unless he puts L19 ARP bolts.
I strongly recommend you get the HR gasket due to the drastic improvement in coolant/water flow (which will even reduce chances of detonation), and get either HR Head Bolts, or ARP L19 Studs (dont get the basic arp studs). If you do end up getting L19's, then that motor should be able to handle 600-700whp with no problems at all. If you go with HR Bolts then id stick to below 550whp (Only one guy has had head lift with HR bolts at 600). and if you go with regular ARP bolts, I wouldnt even trust those over 450.

Thanks Abdala!
I've sent him your last post in a email. I'll speak to him tuesday and bring him the engine this week. As planed, next saturday we take the engine out of the car. I'll try to take as much pics and vids during this built, but you know as much as I do, when your hands are all covered by oil and grease, all your thinking of is to progress further and further.

The hr bolts have to be tighten as per hr torque specs.

I'm very sad to say that the twin rmt's project will abort. ![Frown](https://maxima.org/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
The engine is curently at BHP Motors shop. It will be built has we previously discussed.
I had a deal with Meximax, so I'm buying his Vortech V2 supercharger.
So you will hear the next news from me in a new thread. (and I wont spell built: builded
)
I would like to thank you guys, for your help and interest.
BTW: If you know someone who needs oem Skyline RB26DETT turbos, I have 2 for sale. Good for a Skyline or a custom small 4 banger turbo setup.
