150k to much for boost ?

I've had my car for sale the past few weeks. 01 ae . Didn't get any offers I was happy with .

My question is , 150k to may miles to play with boost ?

I don't want to do anything crazy just want to hit 300 wheel..

Please share your opinions. Thanks

oil analysis and go from there.

even if your motor lets go, it's like $300 and a 1 day process to put a new lower mileage one in. two days if you've never done it before perhaps.

I was going to boost the car when it had 125k miles, and unfortunately sold the kit due to financial obligations.

Fast forward 3 years, and I finally grabbed another kit and put it on at 170k and no looking back

So I wouldn't worry about it, and like others have said, motors are a dime a dozen, especially VQ30s.

The mileage doesn't mean much. It depends how the car was driven. Do a compression test and see how the motor is.

slap that SC on. you'll like the performance with the DE-K. and when it blows, drop in another for $500. at least then you wont kick yourself for blowing a low mileaged motor, like i did.

just not sure if thats gonna keep you happy for a while, knowing that you change your cars like underwear and tossed v8 RWD's around

I boosted at the high 140's iirc. maybe 150.

At 168k now. I did a few oil analysis(s) and a compression test. First few oil analysis sucked ***** cuz of my k&n filter and then i changed that along with some other things and all is well now. Compression was almost perfect as well

I would only worry about the mileage if it was a non-japanese motor.

k&n allowed too much dirt to get in the engine. This is their air filter, not the oil. K&N makes a good oil filter.

This. Ever since I got your old 3" Amsoil, I'm never going back to K&N.

Yeah no looking back now I am yet to hit the dyno but was @200whp naturally aspirated before I installed the kit (at 10psi too). Looking at others dynos, running the 3.33 pulley puts you right around 300whp.

And the pic was on I84 somewhere on the way back from the East Coast Maxima meet in July. I thought the pic had pretty good timing lol.
