got a dek rear valve cover and rear coils, regapped the plugs to .030 and the spark issue is gone. I can hit 9psi now so back to the track sorry no vid but I only 14.6@100mph with a 2.7 60ft on street tires. the transmission was acting up and would not go into gear.

So I went out later that night to check out the car and bam transmission is dead. I had to tow it back to my house

 

That bites but it looks like you'll be back in action in no time.

 

Just noticed you are running a Southbend Clutch, which one is it?

dropped the trans but didn't take it apart, clutch did not explode so time to figure out the next move

 

does it ever I was planning to turn up the boost if everything went well at the track. one thing I did learn is do not flat foot shift on street tires, spin city

 

How do you like it?
I have the same one on my swap (overkill I know) and I love it.

 

it held for the short time it was in there no chatter but the pedal was alittle too soft for my liking felt like stock clutch

 

scored a 95 rear bumper support which is about 20lbs lighter than my 97 steel support so I installed that since the car is down right now

 

 

so my antenna stopped working awhile ago, I got bored ordered a stubby one, didn't like it and here are the results



made a template hammer to the curve of the body

 

all welded in and sanded back down, time for some body filler and primer

 

ok so a common issue when boosting a 4gen is the maf blows apart so to fix that I ordered a new maf housing. I took some pics for anyone that has always wondered have the inside of a maf looked like

so my power antenna doesn't go all the way down and I hated the stubby so I deleted it



made a patch panel to fill the hole and welded it in and grind it back down

 

all done just need alittle bondo and paint

 

ok so the bolts inside the rad support tore off so I bought a replacement rad support from a local org member for a 5.5gen cut off the center section and replaced it

 

 

bolted it all up before welding to make sure everything lined up

 

so I got a great deal on a full 6spd swap, Mmmmm turbo 6spd 4gen sounds good to me

 

 

got everything just waiting on modding flywheel and clutch
