Clutch recommendation

I'm in the need of a new clutch as the stock one that has about 7000 miles on it can't hold the power I'm making. What recommendation does anyone have for price with comfort and performance?

I had spec stage 3 years ago and used it in 3 different cars and springs came out after years it was good to me. It had a good petal feel not too bad to drive. I would of got spec stage 3+ if I were 5spd

Found more on the ACT than anything else. They say the 6 puck will definitely hold up but I didnt want the harsh engagement. I didnt hear about spec till recently. so I went with this. http://www.advancedclutch.com/nm1-xtss

Get the act 6 puck. Make sure you get the sprung one. I made the mistake of getting it unsprung and it kept breaking my gears lol

Spec is bad and Centerforce I wouldn't put in my car nor recommend it to anyone.

for your power level the ACT HDSS should be plenty unless you are planning on ditching the SC for turbo or adding nitrous or something. You probably aren't going to make more than 300ish ft-lb. HDSS will hold that.

If you want to go up a step decide whether you want a little stiffer pedal (XTSS) or a softer pedal but more prone to chatter (HDG6) but I don't think you'll have any need for that unless you have plans to add a lot more torque than you currently have.

I had a act sprung 6puck with a HD psi plate, paid 450shipped, it lasted longer than the car and I have nothing bad to say other than a little chatter and it's harder to slip than a full disk

I ordered the ACT XTSS with full disk. So like 435 last dyno I made 245tq before I fixed my issues. I have a turbo kit sitting in a box. Just playing with this for now till I get tired of it. Thanks for the input guys
