For those considering Dunlop A2's....

Just thought I would give everyone who is considering purchasing Dunlop A2's over another tire....
I recently purchased 4 new A2's from the Tire Rack, and had them mounted and balanced at a reputable shop. After taking the car for a drive, I noticed quite a bit of shimmy in the front end, almost as if the tires were not balanced properly.
I watched the mechanic attempt to re-balance them, at which time we noticed that 3 of the 4 tires were out of round, causing the shimmy.
After a lengthy conversation with the Tire Rack, they contacted Dunlop, who agreed to purchase back all 4 tires, and reimburse me for the mount & balance ( Dunlop does not have a 30 day satisfaction guaruntee, but made an exception) I then ordered a set of B S RE 950's (which I should have done in the first place).
I am by no means saying Dunlop does not make quality tires, as I have used them in the past on other vehicles. I just wanted to share my experience with others who are in the decision making process.

p.s. much respect for the Tire Rack for accommodating their customers: )

I only get a shimmy when the tire pressure is unequal.

Everyone builds a lemon sooner or later. All of my experiences with Dunlop tires have been great. I have noticed that the one of the stock Blotenza RE92's on my car was out of round when it got balanced.
