anyone running 225 tires (particularly fronts)?

I am thinking of putting 225/60-15 on my stock alloy rims (which seem to be able to accomodate them). Spoke with the installer who said that while they will fit, there is a chance the fronts will rub the arch on turns. I am going to see him to test if that will actually happen, but before I do I wanted to know if anyone has a similar set up and has or does not have any issues with it.

thanks

Why would you want to do that? Do all 4 tires the same size and I would't go more than 215 on stock 15s. There are some that have 225 on the sawblades, but 225 are more for 7" rims than 6.5"...

I am putting all 4 the same size, I referenced the fronts since the rears don't turn... from what i see at tirerack.com some of the 225/60-15 are for 6.5"...
btw, what are the sawblades?
thanks

depending on your rim size you can fit up to 235s without changing anything, on the stock 16' s wheels you can have 225s, and i also have a 1.5 rop.

the wheels are 15", the rims are 6.5", original tires are "205/65-15" and the calculators say 225/60-15 have almost the same circumference

thanks

would the fact that i'd be running 225's on 15 and not 18 make a difference?

thanks
