What's about those Potenza

I always wondered what's the big deal about the Potenza tires. I have read a lot of post that most of you guys out there calling it a craptenza. What's so bad about them? I think they are pretty good tires. I still have my original tires the day it rolled off the showroom. 22k miles and still going with no tread wear yet.

Do you have the RE92's?

I disliked them because of two main reasons:
a) Hydroplanes
b) Bad wet traction

The worst part also comes when the road is wet and i feather the throttle from a stop - the frontend just loses it and i have to let go of the throttle to regain traction.

I never knew how bad the RE92's were until i replaced them recently with HTR+.

Being from NM, I'm sure he's not seeing the wet/snow conditions we see here in the mid-west. These tires have to go.

The RE92 are often called "death donuts".
